Privacy Policy
We handle passports, transcripts and financial records. This page says plainly what we hold, why we hold it, and what you can ask us to do with it.

Who this policy covers
This policy applies to Globe Scholar Consultant (“we”, “us”), to this website, and to the Globe Scholar Consultant mobile app. It covers you if you enquire with us, if we act as your consultancy, or if you use the app to follow your case.
We are the controller of the information described below. You can reach us about anything on this page at contact@globescholarconsultants.com.
What we collect and why
We collect only what is needed to advise you and to submit an application on your behalf. Applications to universities and to immigration authorities require identity and academic evidence; that is the reason most of this exists.

We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising or profiling. We do not use it to train machine learning models.
Companies that process data for us
We use a small number of service providers to run the software. They act on our instructions and may not use your data for their own purposes:
- Cloudflare R2 — stores the documents you upload. Files are encrypted.
- Google (Firebase Cloud Messaging) — delivers push notifications to your phone. It receives a device token and the notification text, not your documents.
- Our hosting provider — runs the servers and the database.
- Email and WhatsApp providers — deliver the messages we send you, where you have chosen those channels.
How your data is protected
Traffic between the app, this website and our servers is encrypted in transit (HTTPS). Uploaded documents are encrypted where they are stored. Passwords are hashed and are not readable by us or by our staff.
Access is restricted to the staff working on your case. Sensitive actions are recorded in an audit log that cannot be edited or deleted, so it is always possible to establish who accessed a record and when.
How long we keep it
We keep your case file for as long as we are acting for you, and afterwards for as long as we are required to — financial records carry statutory retention periods, and immigration matters can be reopened or appealed long after a decision.
Once no obligation applies, records are removed. You can ask us to erase your data sooner; see below.
Deleting your account
You can close your account at any time from the app: Profile → Delete my account. You can also request it in writing without installing the app — see Delete your account.
Your rights
You can ask us to:
- give you a copy of the personal data we hold about you;
- correct anything that is wrong;
- erase your data, subject to the retention obligations above;
- stop sending you marketing messages, at any time and without giving a reason.

Children
The app is intended for applicants aged 16 and over. Where an applicant is younger, we deal with a parent or guardian and hold the minor’s details only as part of that application.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle your data we will update this page and the date at the top. Where the change is significant we will tell you in the app.
